Master Planning Facilities Study
In Fall 2022, the Billerica Public Schools contracted with Dore & Whittier to conduct a new master planning facilities study for the school district. This study builds off of the district's previous master plan from 2012, and is designed to meet the following goals:
Identify a new capital improvement plan for all buildings in the district
Identify a priority school for a future submission of a Statement of Interest (SOI) to the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA)
Identify long-term options for how to address the educational and facility needs of all buildings in the district
There are a series of public forums providing information to the community about the Master Planning Facilities Study. This information includes recordings of the forums, presentations, and FAQ documents. Please note that the last slide of the presentation has a QR code where you can ask questions about the study. This code is live for about a week after the forum date.
